Well this was a big week, y’all.

I can FINALLY answer the extremely popular question “what do you think of High Point Market?”!

I have yet to visit this sprawling market with over 2000 vendors, even after 15 years of design work. To be truthful, not many of my own vendors show at this market and it all seemed a bit overwhelming to navigate without guidance or contact, unlike the other trade shows that are on my yearly calendar (see end of post for my go-tos)

Now that we are living a short drive from HP and after this crazy move I am certainly seeking out a reason to meet up with peers yet again, I happily jumped in my car with a large coffee and headed. north!

To sum it up, my two days in the area were so enjoyable; with an incredibly friendly crowd of designers and market facilitators. Charming trolleys, unexpected off-the-beaten path independent showrooms, and to once again be inspired by makers were certainly the highlights.
